Honduras Marcala, San Jose


Los Pinos is a collective of small coffee producers and families who partner with the De La Finca Marcala Farm Project, an experimental teaching farm in the San Jose region of Marcala teaching producers new and innovative ways of coffee production.

In this region of Honduras coffee grown between 1200-1600 meters. The micro climate along with cooler evening evenings allow the cherries to ripen more slowly to develop a sweet flavor.

Cup characteristics: Peach, Melon, White Cherry, a light and bright coffee.

Whole bean, 100% Arabica

Roast level: Medium

Recommended brew method: Aeropress, pour-over, auto-drip. It can be brewed as single-origin espresso.
