Blended entirely from top quality decaffeinated beans from three countries, this espresso blend is roasted in the classic Northern Italian style to capture the most flavor and complexity. These beans were decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process, a chemical-free method which retains the most flavor of all the water processing techniques.
Cup characteristics: Good body, slightly nutty and milk-chocolatey, with a hint of sweet spice, smooth mouthfeel and a pleasant aftertaste.
Note: The hot water process weakens the bean structure, allowing the oils to come to the surface after a few days. However, this coffee is still a medium roast.
Roast level: Medium (Decaf will often become oily at a medium roast level, as the decaffination process weakens the bean structure and allows the oils to come to the surface. This is normal for decaf.)

Recommended brew method: Espresso. Adjust grind and tamp to produce a 22-29 second shot, timed from the first drip.
